The Family Readiness Group (FRG) is “an organization of family members, volunteers, soldiers, and civilian employees belonging to a unit/organization who together provide an avenue of mutual support and assistance and a network of communication among the members, the chain of command, and community resources.” The FRG has established this network of communications. The FRG is used to pass along information and to facilitate the flow of information up the chain for family needs or problems that may require assistance. The FRG supports families and friends during military deployments or in times of need. Simply stated, we are here for you.
We are working to bring our families a movie during drill this weekend.
Volunteers Needed:
FRG is always looking for people to volunteer. Membership in the FRG is open to those concerned about the wellness of our Army Reserve Soldiers and their loved ones.
Eligibility Includes:
Soldiers
Civilian employees
Retirees
Families of all the above
KEY VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Secretary - To provide administrative support to the FRG and to maintain historical records of the FRG.
Special Events Coordinator - To plan FRG special events that both complement the unit's mission and support the goals and objectives of the FRG.
Child Care Coordinator - To ensure acceptable child care for FRG meetings and special events.

Our Family Day was held on 14 Aug 2011. Beginning at 0800 am at the Units Drill Hall in East Point, GA. Special thanks goes out to Pat Chebro and the American Legion, 2LT Herden, and SPC Munevar. Together they laid out the entire plan, arranged the time and location, made the reservation for the briefings by Military One Source and Humana Military - Tricare representatives, planned the main courses through The American Legion and Sonny's BBQ. Mrs. Tracie Neely made a special raffle possible by collecting an amazing number of donations from GOD's Rolling Thunder Church. A special thanks to all who helped out with the face painting. That was a big hit with the kids! As was the water balloons and pinata. We had more children and adults in attendance then last Summers Family Day. Thanks to all of you that made this day of family, friends, food and fun a huge success!
